ABOUT ULVERSTONE MUNICIPAL BAND

The Ulverstone Municipal Band is a community Brass Band involving a dynamic group of people enjoying the making of good music. We play a large variety of music, modern, pop, tv and movie themes, blues and jazz. Our Senior, Learner and Development bands rehearse on Tuesday nights as per below.  We teach learners young and mature how to read music and play a brass instrument. Our range of instruments are: Tubas, Euphonium, Baritone, Tenor Horn, Flugel Horn, Trombone, Cornet, Soprano cornet and Percussion.

We perform at local events within the community and these are on our Calendar of events each month. Every year we perform a Christmas Concert at the Ulverstone Civic centre and perform approximately two other concerts throughout a calendar year.

We have a history within Ulverstone going back to the late 1890’s, but reformed in our current state in 1958, we are well supported by the Central Coast Council and have a good standard of instruments available, all enquiries are very welcome via our email u.m.b@bigpond.com or phone 64254621
